Vijay Patkar, newly elected president of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal assured that he will personally look into the woes of small artistes.
Salaam Pune felicitated Patkar after his selection as a president on this Mahamandal. On this occasion, he said that after a gap of 48 years there is an actor president. I am aware about the problems faced by the small time technicians, artistes. I cannot promise anything, as I have only one year tenure, yet I will try to focus my work on their betterment. I cannot bring any change alone, everybody has to work together. He also said that regional committees at Pune, Kolhapur and Mumbai started by Mandal have been cancelled as elected directors can handle the work.
For this ceremony Sharad Lonkar, Rahul Lohgavkar, Balkrishna Baramati, Sanjeev naik, Ravindra Borgaonkar, DeepaK savkhande, Bhagyashree Desai, Kunal Nimbalkar, Preeti Victor, Arun Lonkar, Sameer Saradeshmukh were present.
