Many a times for a layman cinema means only those glamorous faces that shine in front of the screen, the actors! Most of the times at award shows & events it’s the same people who take all the limelight & while the artists & technicians behind the screen get neglected. However, now the ‘Times’ have started a brand new award in Marathi industry to honor the artists & technicians behind the screen.
‘Times Marathi Film Technical Awards 2018’ (Times MFTA – 2018) is an award which wholly dedicated to technicians! 16 different categories of technicians & artists will be included in this award & more importantly it’s the people, the movie watchers that will get to vote for their favorite in each category. The audiences can register their vote on www.maharashtratimes.com.
The title sponsors of this award are ‘Reliance Jio’ while ‘Ganraj Associates’ (production house), ‘R. Richmond Entertainment’ are also associated with the awards. Actor Swwapnil Joshi is the brand ambassador as well as the host of the award show. The show will be held on 22nd March at Thane’s Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha & it will be aired on T.V. through the official T.V. partner of the awards Star Pravah!
