In Marathi film industry there are many movies has biopic genre. Biopic genre’s main motive is to show the great personality to the audience through the medium of cinema. Samata Films produced ‘Satyashodhak’ is one of the biopic movie based on the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule’s life.
Mahatma Jyotiba Phule was one of the well-known and leading social reformer and activist. He was the first to start an orphanage for the unfortunate children. Jyotibha Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule they were the first couple who brought the education for women in India. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, established Satyashodhak society for social service to the society in the right direction. he put progressive thoughts from this Satyashodhak medium for all problems of all sections of the farmers, Bahujan.
Writer-director Nilesh Raosaheb Jalamkar said, “Today’s generation should know about the qualitative work of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule is the main moto behind this movie.”
Actor Sandeep Kulkarni will play the role of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.
Sandeep Kulkarni said, “It is very pleasant experience for me to work on the journey of such a great personality.”
This movie will be produced by Yogesh Jadhav and its costume designer will be Sandeep Joshi and make-up artist will be Jitendra Mhatre and Nishikant Ujawane. Responsibility of Photography will handle by Chandrakant Meher and music by Mandar Khare.
