Kranti Redkar, mostly known for her acting has decided to venture into direction. Her debut film “Kaakan” is ready for release on 10th April. The film stars Jitendra Joshi and Urmila Kanetkar.
The film is set in 1970s and essentially a love-story but with a twist. The first look and trailer of the film has already receiving fabulous response on various social media. The title track “Kakan” sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Neha Rajpal is already becoming a chartbuster. The music for this film is given by Ajay Singha while lyrics have been penned by Omkar Mangesh Dutt.
Kranti always fascinated by technical details of film-making has also taken additional responsibility of lyrics, dialogues and story-screenplay for this film.
Along with the lead pair Madhavi Juvekar, Ashok Shinde, Ashutosh Gaikwad and Akash Banerjee will be seen in this film. Film is produced by Mango range Productions. The cinematography is done by Bithin Das and art-direction by Mahesh Kudalkar.
