Taleem, a film about Kusti will be releasing on 5th August all over Maharashtra. Nitin Rokde who has edited many Hindi blockbusters will be directing this film and it stars Abhijeet Shwetchandra, Vaishali Dabhade, Mitali Jagtap, Vishni Joshilkar, Chhaya Kadam, Prashant Mohite, Yashpal Sarnath and Arjun in lead roles.
Taleem is produced by Sudarshan Ingle, Sanjay Mule, Jay Aditya Giri and Nitin Rokde under the banners of Raghujan Films, Roaring Goat Media and NMR Movies.
While speaking about this film Rokde said, “The younger generation knows only about wrestling on the mats. However, Marathi traditional wrestling- Kusti is played on the sand and it is the main focus of our film. The locations of this film are very unique and will be seen for the first time on the screen. We have shot this film at Bhor, Junnar and Sangli where the game is still very popular.”
Rokde has also written the story screenplay of the film while dialogues have been penned by Sikandar Sayyad and Abhijeet Kulkarni. The DoP is Farukh Khan and music has been composed by Prafull Karlekar. Mandar Cholkar has written the lyrics and Adarsh Shinde, Tarannum Malik, Ronkani Gupta, Swapnil Godbole, Divya Kumar, Kalpana Potwari, Anandi Joshi, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, and Abhiroop have given playback for the songs.
The film will be releasing on the 5 August all over Maharashtra.
