After a string of successful films targetting the youth, such as Duniyadari, Time please, Balak Palak, comes another youth oriented funfilled love story ‘Lagna Pahaave Karun’. The film marks the directorial debut of enterprising Music director & producer Ajay Naik, who sort of started the trend of youth oriented films in Marathi with his very first production ‘Satrangi Re’. Following the success of the film, he is now all set for his directorial debut with ‘Lagna Pahaave Karun’ which deals with, as the name suggests, topic of Arranged marriages and the influence of Astrology, Horoscope and Match Making on it.
Marriage Institution has special significance in our society. However, it is very challenging for today’s youth to get married and to sustain this relationship for long term. It is becoming difficult in current situations to spare time for partner due to fast and tensed lifestyle. Considering this fact, two youths start Marriage Bureau. These two youth not only exercise traditional ways for match making but also support it by adopting modern thoughts such as importence of compatibility to ensurr that the relationship can be sustained. The film is all about how this duo faces many challenges while achieving their objective.
A music CD of this film was launched at the hands of leading music composer/directors from Hindi Film Industry, Shankar & Ehsan in a grand function organized at MIG Club, Bandra. Sanjay Chabriya’s ‘Everest Entertainment’ has released the Music of this Film. Leading singers like Shaan, Kunal Ganjavala, Bela Shende & Akriti Kakkad who has sung for the filme were also present. They performed on their respective songs from the film with Shankar stealing the show with the additional rendition of his signature ‘Vishwavinayak’ song.
‘Lagna Pahaave Karun’ presents the fresh pair of supreamly talented Umesh Kamat and Mukta Barve as well as Siddarth Chandekar and Tejashree Pradhan. They are ably supported by veterans Jayant Sawarkar and Swati Chitnis. The story is written by Ajay Naik with Screen play and Dialogues by Sameer Vidwans and Kshitij Patwardhan. Songs are written by Ajay Naik, Vaibhav Joshi, Ambarish Deshpande and Kshitij Patwardhan. Music is composed by Ajay Naik himself.
The film is produced by Kiran Deshpande, Mohan Damale, Sanjeev Langarkaande and Aashish Deshpande under the banners ‘Solaris International’ and ‘Sprint Arts Creation’. The film is releasing on 4th October through Shringar Films.
