Sairat collects 70 crores at Box Office! Rinku and Akash to get bonus of 5 crores!

Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat has been creating box office history by each passing week. The tale of two lovers has already crossed 70 crores collection on the box office which is a box office record for Marathi film industry. Though these numbers are just for the third week collections and as the shows are still running house-full in almost every town in Maharashtra, the makers are hoping that the film is set to create another record at the box office.

The producers have also awarded bonus of 5 crores to lead cast of the film – Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru. The other cast and crew will also receive similar bonus. It has to be noted that Manjule made this film only pn the budget of 4 crores and Rinku and Akash were signed for less than 5 lakh initially. However, as the film has started printing money at the box office the producers at Zee Marathi felt that the cast of this film deserves to be a part of the amount as well. Many artistes from the industry have expressed that this is indeed a nice gesture and a good initiative by the producers.
