The film was announced recently in a glamorous event attended by Varsha Usgaonkar. The film has an unusual title called Tafeta and it will be directed by Nitin Savle. The story-screenplay and dialogues are written by Tushar Godse. The film will be produced under the banner of Amol Productions. The event also celebrated 25 years of Shehjari Shejari release.

Music of Lord of Shinganapur was launched in a glamorous event recently. The film is based on a popular deity- Shani Maharaj and has been written-directed by Raj Rathod.

For the event, Bollywood singer Sukhwinder Singh, actress Varsha Usgaonkar, and TV celebrity Rahul Mahajan were present. Entire cast and crew of the film was present including Ashutosh Kulkarni, Milind Joshi, cinematographer Prashant Jadhav, Editor Ajit Devle. The film also marks debut of TV celebrity Rahul Mahajan in Marathi films.

The album contains five songs – Bali Umar, Nilanjan Samabhas, Deva Shani Deva, Hi Duniya re, Tu majhe aashiqui. The lyrics are by Farukh Barelvi and sung by singers like Bela Shende, Swapnil Bandodkar, Rupkumar Rathod, Sadhana Sargam, Javed Ali, Sukhvindar Singh, Ravindra Sathe and Vaibhav Vashisht. The music has been given by Farhan Shaikh and background music has been scored by Monty Sharma.

The film stars Milind Gunaji as Shani Maharaj. Marathi Taraka – a dance and song extravaganza by producer Mahesh Tilekar recently completed its 500 shows. The event was attended by dancing divas- Shridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

Varsha Usgaonkar, Kishori Godbole, Hemangi Kavi, Neha Pendse, Ketaki Palav, BHargavi Chirmule, Kranti Redkar, Shruti Marathe, Prajakta Mali, Sara Shravan, Sanskruti Balgude, Shweta Shinde, Amruta Khanvilkar, Teja Devkar and Prachi Pisat performed on the super hit songs on Shreedevi and Madhuri as a tribute.

Shridevi wished best luck for the dancers and Madhuri won everyone’s heart by speaking in Marathi. Madhuri also performed on her famous “hamari atariya pe” and audience loved it.

The event also had performances by Lalit Prabhakar, Adinath Kothare and king of slomo Raghav Juyal. All the performances were choreographed by Subhash Nakashe and Hitesh Patil.
