At first everyone thought the film stars Urmila in the title role, but the film stars the versatile actress Sonali Kulkarni in the title role!
Urmila Matondkar’s husband and ‘Mumbapuri Production’s Founder and CEO Mohsin Akhtar has produced the film ‘Madhuri’ by showing love and faith in Marathi cinema. Mohsin Akhtar’s production house’s name ‘Mumbapuri Productions’ highlights his love and a special connection with Mumbai.
