Road safety Campaign by Thane RTO and Star Pravah.

Diwali season brings out the festive joys along with meeting near and dear ones. According to Traffic regulation department, this season increases in road accidents. Hence, Thane RTO have started an innovative campaign to ensure road safety in partnership with Star Pravah channel. The actors from the popular series “Lakshya” will be brand ambassadors for this campaign. Apart from creating awareness in the public about road safety, 8286300300 and 8286400400 are the two helpline numbers have also been activated to solve the traffic problems. In theevent of road traffic or accident, people can get immediate help from the traffic police by dialling above helpline numbers.

Also, actors from the series Lakshya will try to send across messages like “Don’t drink and drive” “Use helmet while driving a bike” “Don’t exceed speed limit” through various media. Hoarding and banners will be put up at many locations in Thane, KalyanDombivali, and Bhiwandi.
