Just like everyone else Marathi celebrities too celebrate Ganeshotsav with all the passion & love. We have heard of many unique ways in which they decorate their idol or some of them have a permanent idol which they worship & perform pooja during the festival. Marathi & Hindi actor Rakesh Bapat too has a unique style of celebrating this festival.
Rakesh has created the idol of Lord ganesh on his own! He has used the soil from riverbed & natural colours. Rakesh will soon be seen in an upcoming crime based Marathi film ‘Rajan’. Rakesh says that he has been making his own idol of Lord Ganesh for many years now & he doesn’t believe in fancy additions & themes on the idol.
In this way Rakesh Bapat has inhibited the idea of ‘Eco Friendly’ Ganeshotsav. Moreover Rakesh thanks Lord Ganesh for blessing him. Along with Bharat Sunanda directorial ‘Rajan’ he will also be seen in two more Marathi films.
