Abhay Mahajan who has been seen in films like ‘Ringan’ & ‘Ranga Patanga’ faced an accident during the shooting of his upcoming Marathi film ‘Gachihi’. Landmarc Films presents, Nitin Vaidya Productions produced & Nachiket Samant directorial ‘Gachhi’ stars Abhay Mahajan & Priya Bapat in lead.
During the shoot of a scene Abhay Mahajan was completely in his character that unknowingly he hurt his head at a wall on the ‘Gachhi’. While shooting the scene with co-star Priya Bapat he lost his balance & hurt his forehead. The wound on Abhay’s forehead was quite deep & it required stitching. But since it was just the third day of the shoot & the stitches would’ve been visible throughout the film, Abhay had to undergo a plastic surgery on his forehead.
The unit of the film was shattered by this incident, but with a spirit of ‘the show must go on’ Abhay Mahajan motivated the team to continue with the shoot. The film releases on 22nd December all over Maharashtra.
