Mr.Ravindra Waikar of ‘Icchapurti Productions’ has made his debut as producer in the Marathi film industry through Dhamdhoom. The Film Dhamdhoom is slated for release on October 11th in all over Maharashtra. Watching a Marathi film which comprises of brilliant performances of prominent actors, variety in subject and superior technology is like a treat for the audience. Dhamdhoom which is produced by Icchapurti Productions is presented by Devendra Pem’s Anamay Productions.

Keeping that in mind director Devendra Pem has got the leading actors in Marathi together and made a comedy film which is rich in content. Thanks to the memorable performances of prominent actors such as Bharat Jadhav, Siddharth Jadhav, Smita Shewale, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Sayaji Shinde, Ketki Dave, Anand Abhyankar, Mugdha Shah, Vinay Apte, Meghna Vaidya, Uday Tikekar, Asavari Joshi, Ashwini Apte, Jaywant Wadkar, Kishore Pradhan, Viju Khote etc. the film become more entertaining and interesting.
Earlier we have watched in many films the chaos that happens due to the double role or when two people with similar looks come face to face. But in Dhamdhoom we will get to watch what kind hilarious confusion can take place when many people share the same name. It is easier to portray the confusion created by the similar looking individuals but essaying the commotion created by many people sharing the same name is a bit challenging and director Devendra Pem has won the challenge successfully. The story of Dhamdhoom revolves around a name (Madhu). It’s a story of a guy called Madhukar who loves a girl named ‘Madhu’ and he wants to get married to her. But Madhukar’s father is under the impression that Madhukar’s dream girl is a girl named Madhura and he starts considering Madhura as his future daughter in law. The entry of another guy called Madhur creates more confusion, interestingly the chaos is not only limited to the four youngsters but even their family gets involved into chaos which creates riotous situations and incidents. Misunderstandings between the four families take place due to the common name ‘Madhu’. The whole film which revolves around the theme of marriage will certainly make the audience fall in love with the film.
The songs in the films are penned by lyricist Guru Thakur and Music is composed by Avdhoot Gupte. Noted dance directors Umesh Jadhav and Rajesh Bidve have choreographed the dance sequences in the film. Raja Satankar has handled the Cinematography and Anand Diwan has edited the film. Ratnakant Jagtap is the executive producer of the film. Dhamdhoom which will keep the audience in splits for three hours is releasing on October 11th. Audience will give the film a grand welcome for sure.
