Today prashant Damle going to create world record for ‘Gela Madhav Kunikade,’ his 10,700th appearance, at the Ravindra Natya Mandhir on Saturday, January 6.This performance will break his earlier record and set another one.
His four Limca records include, performing five shows of three different plays on one single day on January 18th, 2001.
Another record is for performing four shows of three different plays on one day, December 24th, 1995.
He performed 469 shows in 365 days from January 1 to December 31, 1996.
Another record is for performing 452 shows in 365 days from January 1 to December 31, 1995.
He started his stage career in Purushottam Berde’s play ‘Tur Tur’ in 1983
