Colors Marathi’s Big Boss Marathi hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar has caught the fancy of our audiences completely through the first week! Everyone is speculating their own theories of who could get evicted & how! Voting from the audiences was done in abundance. In the first week Bhushan Kadu, Anil Thatte & Aarti Solanki were in the danger zone & sadly because of lesser votes Aarti Solanki had to leave the Big Boss house.

After her eviction, Aarti said, “I made good friends inside the Big Boss house which include Rutuja, Ushaji, & Sai Lokur..but some of the old friends didn’t stay by my side & that hurt me. Apart from the three mentioned names the rest are all playing mind games in the house. I did the tasks, worked in the kitchen & even entertained other yet I had to leave that made me sad. Though I would say that the Big Boss house is pretty beautiful & very much Maharashtrian.”

After Aarti got evicted she was gifted with a special power to save a contestant from next week’s nomination! And Aarti chose senior actress & fondly called ‘Aau’ in the Big Boss house, Usha Nadkarni! It would be interesting to see what happens next in Marathi Big Boss house. The most awaited Marathi Big Boss on Colors Marathi commenced on 15^th April at 7 pm! Hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar the show seems to have everything that can hook you to the show for months.

The popularity of Marathi films is giving scope to many experiments in the industry. Recently a chase sequence was shot at Filmcity as the ‘Mahurat’ shot of an upcoming Marathi film ‘Gadbad Jhali’. Produced by Dr. Jitendra Rathod of ‘Pranjali Productions’ & directed by Santram. Co-producer of the film Ramesh Roshan has also given the music of the film whereas Ajay Singh Mall is the executive producer.

The film has a strong star cast of Rajesh Shrungarpure, Vikas Patil, Mohan Joshi, Neha Gadre, Usha Nadkarni, Sanjay Mohite & Akshata Patil. ‘Gadbad Jhali’ from the title suggests is that it’s a comedy of errors. Moreover, the film also speaks about a social issue.

The subject of the film revolves around those who run away from their homes for a love-marriage. The obstacles they face are presented in the film. Santram is a director who has previously directed many Hindi serials. He believes that directing a Marathi film is challenging but because of a good team, it was easier for him.
