Atumgiri is an upcoming Marathi film starring ‘Dhag’ fame national award winning child artist Hansraj Jagtap. Though now Hansraj has grown up & he plays the hero in ‘Itemgiri. The film has already created a lot of buzz among the audience especially because of the songs that have gone viral on social media.

During the shooting of a romantic scene between Hansraj Jagtap & Dhanashri Meshram, Hansraj was a little reluctant. He says that he had never hugged a girl before hence it was a little awkward. The directors even played the songs of the film to bring him in a romantic mood. But even that didn’t work. Finally the directors Pradeep Tonge, Mangesh Shendge had to do the scene themselves to show it to Hansraj.

After many retakes finally the 15th take of Hansraj hugging Dhanashri was perfect. Atumgiri also stars Fandry fame Rajeshwari Kharat, Milind Shinde & Chaya Kadam & is set to release on 9th June.

Rajeshwari Kharat– Shalu from Fandry will be seen as a leading lady in”Itemgiri”. The cast and crew seem to be taking extra precaution of keeping their heroine happy. While shooting for the film, Rajeshwari expressed that the lunch should have Shrikhand (her favourite sweet dish) and whoa! Next day on the sets there was 20 KG of Shrikhand. Every member of the crew has got Shrikhand as a surprise for her. We bet, the day was very sweet for Rajeshwari. “This was really a surprise for me. I love eating home-cooked food and Shrikhand is my absolute favourite. As everybody got a shrikhand for me, but surely I cnat eat this much alone, so we all enjoyed it on the sets.”

Itemgiri promises a new chapter in Rajeshwari’s life. In the film, she will be playing a college-going girl. The film is directed by Pradeep Tonge & Mangesh Shendge.

The shooting for the film is currently going on and the film will be ready for the release very soon.

Remember Shalu from Nagraj Manjule’s Fandry? The girl did not have a dingle dialogue in the film, yet her expressive face and sparkling eyes captivates he audience just like Jabya! Rajeshwari Kharat, the actress who played the role of Shalu will be seen in her next film Itemgiri.

First look of this film has been released recently. The film is produced by Aviraj Productions and directed by director duo- Pradeep Balasaheb Tonge and Mangesh Vaijinath Shendge. The music for this film has been composed by Rohit Nagbhide.

Rajeshwari was studying in ninth standard while working in Manjule’s Fandry. After the release of the film she took a break from the acting and decided to concentrate on her studies. Currently she has passed her XIIth exam from the Commerce stream and pursuing her degree in Bachler of Commerce. Rajeshwari has been paired with Hansraj Jagtap (who was last seen in the film Dhag) and newcomer Rahul Pune.

The shooting of this film is nearly complete and the film is expected to release in last quarter of this year.
