Synopsis:
‘Online Binline, e-motions to emotions!’ is a story about a college boy with an addiction – to the internet – who falls in love with a girl.
His entire life is online. Instead of talking to his friends he sends a message on Facebook. Instead of smiling and laughing with his friends, he writes ‘lol’ and adds a smiley face. He can barely look up from his smartphone long enough to notice the world going by around him – or the people in it. He has no idea that it can be a problem, though his friends and family are getting worried for him.
The boy falls in love with a girl from his college and sets out to win her heart, but he doesn’t know how to. He has fallen so deep in to his addiction that he has forgotten how to talk to a real girl with real words – and real emotion. He knows how to talk online to anyone, but how does one talk to a real girl, face-to-face? How do real emotions work?
He consults the internet, the answer to everything. He finds the perfect website to help him win the girls heart – lovemotions.com.
The website, for a fee, tells him all the tricks to steal girl’s heart. What to say, what she likes and doesn’t like and what he has to do to win her over. Now, he is armed with what he needs to start winning her heart, to make her fall in love with him. Though now there is another hurdle, another boy is competing for her heart and this leads to some funny situations.
In the meantime, his friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned as the boy is sinks deeper and deeper in to the virtual world and away from the real one. His addiction is taking over, they need to intervene before it’s too late, though he doesn’t even realise he has a problem. They know he needs help and they will need help to do this, so they consult a Psychiatrist.
With the Psychiatrist’s expertise and advice they develop a plan. If they can make the boy realise he has a problem, he will be able to snap out of it, so they set the wheels in motion.
Online Binline is a fun film that is entertainment for the whole family. It is a story about love and life in the internet age, with a subtle message about finding the balance between the real and online worlds and that love is an emotion – not an e-motion.

Online Binline launched its Music Album with the entire cast and crew of the movie including the leading actors Siddharth Chandekar, Hemant Dhome and debutant Rutuja Shinde. The music was unveiled by Music Composer Leslie Lewis.

The film directed by Kedar Gaekwas and produced under the banner Ganraj Associates. ‘Online Binline’ is a quirky film inspired by increasing Internet addiction in today’s youth. The album consists of various upbeat and peppy numbers which will appeal and connect to the younger generation. The highlight of the album is a remake of the hit Pop song ‘Oh Ho Kay Zhala’ that was released in 2001 which featured Lesle Lewis & Hari Haran. Lyrics are given by Mandar Cholkar and Shreyash Jadhav who has also rapped in the song, whereas the music direction is done by the three stalwarts of music domain: Hrishikesh Ranade, Jasraaj Joshi and Saurabh.

The will hit the theatres on 3 July 2015.

Tell us something about your debut film and your role in the film?

Online Binline is a complete youthful romcom based on an unique concept like internet & cell phone addiction of today’s youth!My character’s name is Kimaya Deshmukh in the film. She is a very sweet girl next door. She is the one whom every guy would like to have, as a friend.

How was your first acting experience like?

I have been acting through of theater and short films for a long time but this being my first feature film, this experience was very exciting. Shooting was a great fun and I enjoyed a lot. Working with a great team and supportive cast always makes your work more fun.

How was it like working with Siddharth Chandekar and Hemant Dhome?

Siddharth Chandekar is a prankster! I will never forget that he had locked me in the vanity toilet and I was shouting out for help. Hemant is very calm and helped me through many scenes. There were times when we had to improvise many scenes so it was a good learning experience from both of them. Both of them are very supportive and fun to work with.

Tell us something about the director?

He is a supremely talented cinematographer and as a director he has done good job for the film.

Who have been major influences on you as a dancer and actor?

Well I have grown up watching Madhuri Dixit. It was since my childhood that I admire her dancing style and grace. As an actor I cannot describe exactly whom I like. Because every actor or actress has performed well in some of their roles. So it’s the characters played by them that influence me more!

Who are the directors on your wish list in Marathi and Hindi Cinema?

It’s a big list but to mention few in Marathi it will be Sanjay Jadhav, Ravi Jadhav, and Aditya Sarpotdar.
And in Hindi Anurag Basu, Vishal Bharadwaj, Imtiaz Ali etc. etc. It’s a never ending list.

Are you open to television offers?

I don’t watch television daily soaps. It’s just that I cannot do and play the same part again n again. If I get something out of the box then I can think on it. But as of now only Films. I get bored with the same things very quickly. I need variations in characters and my life too

Sonu Nigam the sensational bollywood recently sang for a new Marathi Film ‘Online Binline’ with Priyanka Barve. This is a slow track which will show the romantic camaraderie between the lead pair Sidharth Chandekar and Rutuja Shinde. What was more exciting, Sonu sang this entire song in one take! He was mesmerized with the lyrics and tune very much.

This song will be shot in slow motion like Pahla Nasha from QSQT. What also adds to its melody is the chemistry between the two singer’s resonant voices.
