Sony Marathi the new Marathi entertainment channel that commences it’s telecast from 19th of August is all set to bring back those times with a brand new family comedy serial! ‘Hum Bane Tum Bane’ stars Aditi Sarangdhar & Rani Gunaji in the lead and seems like a unique take in the family comedy genre.
In today’s modern times of micro families in this serial, we can see two daughter-in-laws staying together in the same house & both of them love their mother-in-law & take care of her! This pleasing scene is also garnished with light-hearted situational comedy. The ‘Kanda Bhaji’ scene in the first teaser of the serial tempts us that this serial will have many such light-hearted funny pleasing moments.

It absolutely proves that she is an outstanding performer. Now she is giving us New Year treat on 1st January of 2016, she is coming in her upcoming Marathi movie ‘Mohar’ directed by Vijay Patkar. First of all tell us about your role in upcoming Marathi movie ‘Mohar’.
I am playing the role of woman who is working on the furnace brick and living the simple life with family. Family is expecting just basic happiness and nothing more than that. But suddenly their life took an unexpected turnover and this situation destroys their happy lives. This movie shows how this simple living family suffered from depression.
This is an interesting role of mine and I am working without makeup on screen for the first time.
Truly I admire Vijay Patkar sir who is the king of comedy but now he is the director of Mohar movie and he is such a sensitive man. I loved working with him.
Serial Lakshya, play Proposal and Graceful and now this movie ‘Mohar’ how did you managed this schedule?
Fortunately I metgood producers. Lakshya’s producer Aadesh Bandekar-Suchitra mam, Graceful’s producer Anuradha Wagh and Proposal’s producer Kalpana Vilas Kothari supports me a lot. Just because of them it has been possible to learn some different things in my 13-14 years of career.
Which medium is close to you and comfortable for you Serial-Drama-Movie?
I love to work with all these three media. In theater immediately gets appreciation from audience. There is no second chance or retake. Audience can quickly observe what’s wrong and what’s right. Of course, Chukila Maafi Nahi.
Mohar is coming in the first month of the New Year what are you exactly feeling?
I am feeling great and proud that my ‘Mohar’ movie is coming with Nana Patekar sir’s and Mahesh Manjrekar sir’s movie ‘Natsamrat’. I really respect the ‘Natsamrat’ movie.
Is Inspector Saloni Deshmukh from Lakshya and Aditi Sarangdhar having same personality?
*Laugh* No, Saloni is dashing and strong woman and Aditi is common girl, wife who is always work in home just like normal woman. But I have played many roles of strong woman.
Have you ever thought about to plan any resolution of 2016?
I haven’t done anything special in this year and did not pay much attention to health and fitness. Now my resolution is “I am going to lose weight and will stay fit.”

Actor Vijay Patkar is mainly known for his comedy performances; recently he directed comedy genre movie ‘Carry On Deshpande’ and now he is directing the social issue based movie ‘Mohar’. He is sharing his experience how he has turn into the comedy direction to social issues based movie’s direction.
Director Vijay Patkar said, ” I am generally known for my comedy genre of films and this is my first attempt of social relevant issue based film which I had to take on due to the unfortunate accident of my friend Sanjeev Naik who was earlier supposed to direct the film and he recommended my name to the producers and I had to accept the film within 18 days of shooting the film and I was left seven to eight days to pre-production for the film and I am must thank my cast and crew for their co-operation in completing the film and making it a very good film which I am sure the audiences will like it.”
The film revolves around the lives of Nivrutti and Taynu who are living a happy loving life with their two children but sudden unfortunate problems crop up and a stormy happening destroy their happy lives amidst their misunderstandings and to know whether Taynu’s life will bloom again, to know we have to see the movie.
This movie starring Sayaji Shinde, Prasad Oak, Aditi Sarangdhar, Hemlata Bane, Vijay Kadam, and child actors Prajakta Jagtap and Chaitanya Ghadge. Actress Manasi Naik will do a sizzling lavni number in this movie. The story of this movie written by Rekha Surendra Jagtap and screenplay and dialogues by Deepak Bhagwat. The lyrics penned by Rahul Jadhav, Surendra and Anant More and music composed by Milind More and songs sung by Bela Shende, Prasannjeet Kosambi, Kavita, Chang, Saksshi and the choreography done by Deepali Vichare and DOP Is Raja Phadtare. ]]>Aashiqui-star Rahul Roy launched the first look and music for the Vijay Patkar directed Mohar at a grand function recently. The film is produced by Chandrakant Pandharinath Pawar, Sangeeta Gautam Saatdive and supported by Gurunath Mithbavkar, Ashish Raje of Leap Enterprises.
The film revolves around a love story between Taynu and Nivrutti and their small happy family with two children. What happens when a whirlwind typhoon strikes Nivrutti, what problems he face will be crux of the film.
The film stars Sayaji Shinde, Aditi Sarangdhar and Prasad Oak in the lead roles along with Vijay Kadam, Hemlata Bane, and child stars Prajakta Jagtap and Chaitanya Ghadge. Story is written by Rekha Surendra Jagtap and screenplay and dialogues are by Deepak Bhagwat . Milind More has composed the songs

]]>Milind Kavde is known for his path breaking comedy ‘Yedyanchi Jatra’ and now he is all set to wow the audiences in his latest comic thriller ‘Just Gammat’. We spoke to Milind about his new film. The film is ready to hit the screens on March 27.
What is the genre of ‘Just Gammat’?
It’s a black humored dark satire comical thriller based on modern day marriages. I am sure the audiences will enjoy this different type of comedy. The film talks about the husband wife conflict in modern marriages and how they fight over trivial issues and then make up as fast as they can and that this is the charm of marriage but sometimes such conflicts may lead to dangerous results and the husband and wife may go through trying times.
The castings seem perfect for such genre…
I wanted someone who can play an over fortyish husband and Sanjay Narvekar fitted the bill. We wanted someone young and beautiful as his wife and Smita Gondkar fitted the role. We also have Jitendra Joshi and Aditi Sarangdhar as another married couple. Sanjya and JItendra are excellent in comedy, there timing makes the entire film a delightful watch. Audience will be in splits with multitude of comedians like Vijay Patkar, Atul Todankar, Arun Kadam, Aarti Solanki, Dinesh Hingoo, Jayraj Nayar and Deepak Shirke.
We hear the music of the film has a special item song.
Yes. The film has some very good music by Nitinkumar Gupta and one item song picturized on Heena Panchal and sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The song penned by Francis is called ‘Bevda’ Bevda’ and has all the types of alcohol like whisky, tharra, pauwa’, etc as a part of the song. The highlight of this song is not only this is an item number but technically its brilliant. Our DOP Samla Bhaskar has shot the song in virtual reality This is a first time for Marathi film. I am sure audience will love this song very much.
Just Gammat is almost complete. What next?
I have completed one more issue based film titled ‘1234’ and it will release soon.
