Actor Ashok Saraf visited Pune city on Monday along with a few actors from the Marathi film industry. Unlike his onscreen personality, The veteran Marathi actor shared that he isn’t funny in real life.
He is said be known as ‘Akadu’ Ashok by a lot of people. He said, “I am usually pretty serious off screen. It’s just by fluke that my comedy clicked with the audience and became a success. In fact a lot of people feel that I am ‘Akadu‘ as I don’t talk much.” Ashok Saraf’s last hindi movie was Ajay Devgn’s Singham where he played the outspoken blunt Police Constable. It is also said that the actor is pretty much selective in his roles.
Also present at the event were Hrishikesh Joshi, Priya Bapat, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Hemant Dhome, Aniket Vishwasrao, Anand Ingale and his brother Aditya Ingale and Sachin Awasthi.
