Firodiya Karandak, a competition for one-act plays is one of the most important part pf Pune college life. Many artistes and technicians have received recognition through this competition. Subak, a drama company formed by Sunil Barve will be showcasing these ona-act play in Mumbai. “”Paani” from IT College and “Vitha” from Fergusson college will be showcased during this event on 6th June at 4 pm at Yashwant Natya Mandir, Matunga and at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruh, Thane at 8:30 pm. The tickets will be available from 3rd June at the theatres. Velocity Venture, Dream2Reality and special Vision have assiste Subak for this special event.
Paani is based on a village where Naxalies have influence and how shortage of water affects villagers. Vitha is based on life-story of famous Tamasha-artiste Vithabai Narayangaonkar.
