Marathi movie is now creating its own space in varieties of genre’s movies. Along with entertainment projects Marathi film industry is looking forward on social issues based movie, in which audience can see and understand the problems of society. Upcoming Marathi movie ‘Mohar’ is one of them.
VJ Enterprises presents ‘Mohar’ produced by Chandrakant Pawar and Sangeeta Saatdive and Leap Entertainments comprising of producers Gurunath Mithbavkar & Ashish Raje and directed by Vijay Patkar.
Actor Vijay Patkar is mainly known for his comedy performances; recently he directed comedy genre movie ‘Carry On Deshpande’ and now he is directing the social issue based movie ‘Mohar’. He is sharing his experience how he has turn into the comedy direction to social issues based movie’s direction.
Director Vijay Patkar said, ” I am generally known for my comedy genre of films and this is my first attempt of social relevant issue based film which I had to take on due to the unfortunate accident of my friend Sanjeev Naik who was earlier supposed to direct the film and he recommended my name to the producers and I had to accept the film within 18 days of shooting the film and I was left seven to eight days to pre-production for the film and I am must thank my cast and crew for their co-operation in completing the film and making it a very good film which I am sure the audiences will like it.”
The film revolves around the lives of Nivrutti and Taynu who are living a happy loving life with their two children but sudden unfortunate problems crop up and a stormy happening destroy their happy lives amidst their misunderstandings and to know whether Taynu’s life will bloom again, to know we have to see the movie.
This movie starring Sayaji Shinde, Prasad Oak, Aditi Sarangdhar, Hemlata Bane, Vijay Kadam, and child actors Prajakta Jagtap and Chaitanya Ghadge. Actress Manasi Naik will do a sizzling lavni number in this movie. The story of this movie written by Rekha Surendra Jagtap and screenplay and dialogues by Deepak Bhagwat. The lyrics penned by Rahul Jadhav, Surendra and Anant More and music composed by Milind More and songs sung by Bela Shende, Prasannjeet Kosambi, Kavita, Chang, Saksshi and the choreography done by Deepali Vichare and DOP Is Raja Phadtare. The Mohar is releasing on 1st January 2016 all over Maharashtra.
