‘Sangharshyatra’ is an upcoming biography genre movie based on the life journey of late BJP Leader, Mr. Gopinath Munde. The film is by a young debutant Sakar Raut, Produced by Suryakant Baji, Raju Baji, Sandeep Ghuge and Mukund Kulkarni under the banner of Om Siddhivinayak Motion Pictures.
The film is about The leader who was from a Dalit background. He was a selfless social leader and spokesman for the downtrodden masses of Beed, Maharashtra.
The first look and music of the film was launched in the presence of its cast, crew and celebrities. The Chief Minister Devendra Phadanvis’s wife Amruta Phadanvis is making her debut as a playback singer in the film.
Amruta Phadanvis said ,” It was my ambition to become a playback singer but I couldn’t make it due to other commitments but when I was offered this song in the film, it got me all excited and I am happy that I have got this song and I would like to pursue singing rather than composing. ”
BJP MLA Mr. Ashish Shelar said by giving his best wishes for the film that, ” the leader who came from a sugar cane worker farming background built sugar co-operatives and factories, who traveled all the globe and built many educational institutions. We have a lot to learn from his life. The title of the film perfectly suits his life “.
The director revealed that when he conceived the film, it was only Sharad Kelkar who he thought fitted the best for the title role and hence it was not revealed even in the first look. The make-up artist Pradeep Premgirikar, who made great efforts on the looks of Sharad Kelkar which made Sharad look exactly as Gopinath Munde.
Sharad Kelkar had said, ” I didn’t want to take up the role because I was circumspect that, whether I would match the part but the director Sakar Raut was very persistent. I made him chase around for a month and when make-up artist Pradeep worked on my look, I gained a little bit more confidence and gave my nod for the role. ”
The film is written by Viraj Muley and Vijay Gharge including the screen play and story. The rest of the cast includes: Girish Pardesi, Shruti Marathe, Omkar Karve, Deepti Bhagwat, and Preetam Kangne.
The ballads by Moreshwar Meshram Shahir have been composed by Anirudh Akshay and have been sung by Adarsh Shinde and Anirudh Joshi. The song sung by Amruta Phadnvis is composed by Srirang Urhekar and lyrics by Mandar Chowlkar. The DOP is Sanish Jayraj and editing is by Anant Kamath.
The film is likely to be a great inspiration realising on 11th December 2015.
