As we all know Subodh Bhave plays Dr. Ghanekar in the film, the excitement was to see which Marathi actress of today’s times would fit in the place of the legendary actress Asha Kale!
Prajakta Mali suits the bill perfectly it seems! Both Subodh & Prajakta have captured the energy of the original song pitch perfectly in this recreation. Originally sung by Asha Bhosale & Hemant Kumar & composed by Hridaynath Mangeshkar, the new version uses the same vocals of the legendary singers. The further remastering of the song has been done by singer-composer Ajit Parab!
