Legendary actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar passed away last year on 3 November. To commemorate his social work, a foundation has been formed by his family and close friends. The Foundation will be called as Sadashiv Amrapurkar Foundation and will work for various social causes.
Dr. Anand Nadkarni, senior psychologist and trustee for this foundation commmented, “Sadashiv was very much aware of the social problems and kept working on them. This foundation was formed to finish the work which he had started.”
Reema Amrapurakar said, “The Foundation will work by cultural activities and will aid various social issues and encourage such organizations. The Foundation also aims to provide a platform for writers, actors and artistes from the rural background.”
