The much awaited Marathi multi-starer ‘Ranangan‘ has opened to great response from the audiences. In the first opening weekend itself the film has earned more than 2 Crores all over Maharashtra. The film is running with packed houses in Pune, Kolhapur and Aurangabad.
But more than the numbers what the audience feel after watching the film is more important. And ‘Ranangan’ is getting great word of mouth from the audiences. In fact people are writing about the film on social media too. The film stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Swwapnil Joshi, Siddharth Chandekar, Pranali Ghogare in important roles.
The audiences have liked Swwapnil Joshi’s anti-hero kind of avatar which isn’t completely hero-like neither is it completely villain-like. The film earned 57 Lakhs on the box office on Friday. Followed it up with even bigger numbers of 74.5 Lakhs on Saturday & even better, 81 Lakhs on Sunday! In total it has made around 212.5 Lakhs.
