We have already reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be producing Marathi film with the lead pair of Swwapnil Joshi and Anjana Sukhani. The title of this film was recently announced as Laal Ishq. Many readers will recall that Laal Ishq was a passionate song from Bhansali directed Hindi film Raam Leela.
Bhansali has given recent Box office success Bajirao Mastani- a story of a Marathi Peshwa. The film was widely appreciated for its grandeur and even won accolades on the award circuit. Bhansali is known for making larger than life grand films. We hope that Laal Ishq will also be one of the grandest film of Marathi industry.
His co-producer is Shabina Khan, a well-known costume designer who has worked for many Hindi films and has associated as a co-producer with Bhansali on Rowdy Rathod and Gabbar is Back.
Lal ishq has been written by Shirish Latkar and directed by Swapna Waghmare with Jaywant Wadkar, Priya Berde and Kamlesh Sawant in pivotal roles.
The film will release on May 27.
