Subodh Bhave previously seen in biopics of Bal Gandharva & Lokmanya Tilak seems to fit the character of Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar perfectly! Moreover he looks very confident or ‘Kadak’ in his dialogue delivery as the yesteryear star! This film also seems to put light on the golden era of Marathi theatre, on times when Marathi people’s biggest passion was theatre & they used to regularly watch Marathi theatre!
Releasing on 8th November, this diwali, ‘Ani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ promises to be the perfect festival blockbuster for Marathi cinema. Few years back Subodh Bhave’s ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusali’ too released in Diwali & went on to become a blockbuster!
