We are used to watching the ‘smoking & drinking alcohol is injurious to health’ notices in films. But filming such scenes are really difficult & the actors performing them are genuinely tested. Upcoming Marathi film ‘Dry Day’ directed by Pandurang Jadhav has a similar scene. To make this scene seem natural the actors had to actually drink real alcohol.

Presented by Anandsagar Production House & produced by Sanjay Patil ‘Dry Day’ is a film that unlike its title has young characters in high spirits as seen in the trailer. The director had to work really hard to pull out natural performances out of the four actors of being high. Finally, director Pandurang Jadhav decided to make the actors Rutwik Kendre, Chinmay Kambli & Kailas Waghmare actually high on alcohol. Surprisingly all the actors gave a perfect performance after getting high & the whole scene was shot in one take.

‘Dry Day’ is set to release in theatres from 13^th July & also stars Parth Ghatage, Monalisa Bagal, Aayli Ghia & Sanika Mutalik among others. The audiences can enjoy a youth-centric entertainer in Marathi after a long time in the form of ‘Dry Day’!

Dry Day, a film by Pandurang Jadhav is ready for the release. The music of this film was recently launched by veteran director Vishal Bhardwaj in Mumbai. The film stars Ritwik Kendre, Chinmay Kambli, Monalisa Bagal, Aily Giye, Arun Nalawade and Jayram Nair.

The two songs Ashi Kashi and Daru Ding Dang were presented in the star-studded event. The music has been composed by Ashwin Shrinivasan, Ashi Kashi is a love song sug by Jonita Gandhi and Ash King. Daru Ding Dang is sung by Bollywood singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani.
The film is written by Pandurang Jadhav and screenplay-dialogues are by Nitin Dixit. DoP is Nagraj Diwakar and editing by Amit Kumar.

In the last few years we are seeing more & more singers, music composers from Bollywood entering into Marathi industry. The latest additions to this list are popular singers Jonita Gandhi & Ash King. They have sung a duet song for the upcoming Marathi film ‘Dry Day’. This marks their debut in Marathi.

‘Dry Day’ is produced by Sanjay Patil through the banner ‘Anand Sagar Productions’. The music of this film is composed by Ashwin Shrinivasan who has previously assisted Oscar winner A.R. Rehman. Ashwin Shrinivasan too is making his debut in Marathi. Jonita & Ash King’s duet song is titled ‘Gaar Gaar Kolshat Uthavi Hi Aag Kashi’ & the lyrics of this song are written by Jay Atre.

Directed by Pandurang Jadhav ‘Dry Day’ is set to release on 8th September all over Maharashtra. Jonita has previously sung blockbuster songs like ‘Mental Manadhil’ from ‘OK Kanmani’, ‘Gilheriya’ from ‘Dangal’ & from ‘Highway’ movie ‘Kahan Hu Mein’. While Ash King too has major hits like ‘Aayesha Suno Aayesha’, ‘Barish’ from ‘Half Girlfriend’ & ‘Alizeh’ from ‘Ae Dil Hein Mushkil’ to his name.
