Leading music composer and singer Salil Kulkarni is known for his evergreen compositions of the songs. Going a step ahead he had ventured into direction through Marathi film Weddingcha Shinema last year. He had penned the story of the film too. The film was a big hit in India and abroad. After the grand success of the Weddingcha Shinema Dr Salil Kulkarni is all set for a new Marathi film. Ekada Kaay Zala is the new Marathi film announced under the directorial stint.

The first poster of the film Ekada Kaay Zala was released recently and got huge response on social media. It has aroused curiosity among the cinema lovers. The Muhurat ofFeatuthe film was held in Pune in a glittering event in the presence of Salil Kulkarni and actors in lead roles. Sumit Raghavan,Urmila Kothare, Dr Mohan Agashe, Suhas Joshi, Pushkar Shrotri, Rajesh Bhosale, Pratik Kolhe, Mukta Puntambekar, Akankshja Athalye, Ritesh Ohol, Arjun Purnapatre, Adwait Wakchoude, Adwait Dhulekar and Merwan Kale were among the actors who attended the Muhurat shot of the film. The film is slated to be released in 2020.
The film ‘Ekada Kaay Zala’ is established its uniqueness from the title and assures the filmgoers that they are going have a feast of a very emotive and new subject. The film is being produced by Siddharth Mahadevan, Saumil Shrungarpure and Saumendu Kuber under their banner Show Box Entertainment and Arundhati Datye, Anup Nimkar, Salil Kulkarni and Gajvadan Productions of Nitin Prakash Vaidya. Like his first film, Salil Kulkarni is in multiple roles of writer, director and music director in Ekada Kaay Zala too. In his Weddingcha Shinema, Salil had proved his mettle in all these three roles.

The poster of the film Ekada Kaay Zala release recently depicts the image of the child and a man. The film is based on the relationship of the father-son duo. Salil Kulkarni’s multi dimensional performance in his first film was appreciated by the critic and the audience alike. After having successfully ventured into director, writing, the Marathi film audience it eagerly waiting for the next film from Dr Salil Kulkarni.

As we all know that Kajol is the daughter of Marathi actress Tanuja, who mainly acted in Hindi films. Many of us would also be aware that Kajol speaks decent Marathi! This thriller film stars Nana Patekar in the lead & Sumeet Raghvan & Irawati Harshe in other important roles. The film is directed by popular filmmaker Satish Rajwade who recently gave a smashing hit ‘Ti Saddhya Kay Karte’!

Recently the shooting of this untitled project began with the first clap by Kajol herself. Ajay Devgn’s father & popular action choreographer of Bollywood Veeru Devgn was also present at the shoot. It’ll be interesting to see how this partnership of Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgn & Satish Rajwade turns out for Marathi Cinema.

Marathi Director-Producer Sanjay Jadhav recently roped in 11 leading male actors of Marathi cinema to sing for the title track Zindagi Zindagi for his film Duniyadari.

The catchy lyrics… Zindagi Zindagi…. Doston Ki Duniyadari Mein Haseen Meri Zindagi… happened to
be so good, that immediately Sanjay Jadhav came out with the novel idea of getting this friendship song
sung by as many artist singers as he could. Above all they sang without any remuneration as they had
strong liking to the feel of the song & enjoyed singing it. Their only take away – pleasure of singing a
well composed friendship song for their dear friend of Marathi film industry Sanjay Jadav.

This is the first time that a title song has been sung by 11 leading artist. The renowned artist viz. Sachin 
Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sumit Raghavan, Sunil Barve, Prasad Oak, Kedar shinde, Pandharinath
Kambli, Siddhartha Jadhav, Vaibhav Mangle, Ankush Chaudhari and Swapnil Joshi have rendered their
voice for recording this song of ‘Duniyadari’. Beyond their busy schedule, all artist spared time for such a
unique effort in the history of Marathi films.

The music for this song ‘Zindagi Zindagi’… song has been composed by ‘SAY band’ and lyrics penned
by Sachin Pathak alias ‘Yo’ of the same SAY band. A perfect blend of Marathi and Hindi words has been
mixed well in the lyrical composition of this song. The lyrics and music is very lively, rocking, yet simple
and brings out the essence of friendship and passion in its best way possible. It resonates the positioning
of the song in the film so effectively that one would immediately ring into rhyming it and connect itself
with it.  The music shall be released by Nanubhai of “Video Palace”.

Ankush Chaudhari, Swapnil Joshi, Jitendra Joshi, Uday sabnis, Uday Tikekar, Sushant Shelar, Urmila
Kanitkar , Varsha Usgaonkar, and Sai Tamhankar are the artist of the film. A dream project of Sanjay
