Lot of Marathi films have been made in recent times where the protagonists are teenager kids. But ‘Boyz’ promises to bring an altogether different genre in Marathi cinema. One where the teenage kids are on the verge of becoming grown-ups, so that brings in the unusual naughtiness of that age. Film stars Sumant Shinde, Parth Bhalerao, Pratik Lad Santosh Juvekar, Zakir Hussain, Vaibhav Mangale, Shilpa Tulaskar, Sharvari Jemanis, Bhau Kadam & Sunny Leone.
Parth Bhalerao has garnered lots of acclaim with his performances in films like Killa, Bhoothnath Returns & Disco Sannya. Here too he looks in top form & displays his usual spot on comic timing. The film is set in a boarding school where discipline is extremely important. But outsiders enter into this world initiating a fun journey!
The song composed & written by Avadhoot Gupte ‘Amhi Lagnalu’ has already become a hit & this trailer promises the same madness that is present in this song. It would be interesting to see how our audience react to this new genre of Marathi cinema.
