‘Ranangan’ starring the Marathi stalwarts Swwapnil Joshi & Sachin Pilgaonkar against each other is an highly awaited Marathi release of this season. Recently the trailer of the film was revealed on social media. The film also stars Siddharth Chandekar, Pranali Ghogare, Suchetra Bandhekar & Anand Ingle in pivotal roles. The trailer clearly introduces us to main conflict of the film which is related to Siddharth Chandekar & Pranali Ghogare’s characters.
Their marriage seems to have a strong political context in the film. Swwapnil Joshi though appears to be the anti-hero here we also see him as a ‘Krishna’ like figure. Even Sachin Pilgaonkar’s character seems to have some dark shades. This confusion of who exactly represents ‘the good’ & who represents ‘the evil’ makes this film exciting!
‘Ranagan’ is produced by Karishma Jain & Joe Rajan & co-produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Swwapnil Joshi & Kartik Nishandar. Directed by Rakesh Sarang ‘Ranangan’ promises to be a perfect family entertainer with traits of political thriller & romance. The film releases on 11th May all over Maharashtra.
