‘Yuntum’ is an upcoming Marathi movie, rural romantic drama directed by ‘Chaurya’ fame director Sameer Asha Patil. The film stars debutants Vaibhav Kadam & Apoorva Shelgaonkar. Vaibhav Kadam was chosen for this role from social media! The very first song of the film was recently released online.

‘Gara Gara’ captures the innocence of first love perfectly. The song is beautifully shot & the actors seem to be perfect in their parts. Though after the success of ‘Sairat’ many romantic Marathi films have come but ‘Yuntum’ seems to be unique & since it’s made by a good director we can expect the film to make a connect with us & also entertain us.

The lyrics of this song are written by Mangesh Kangane, the music is composed by Chinar & Mahesh while the vocals are by popular singers Harshavardhan Wavre & Anandi Joshi. This film is being presented by Ravi Jadhav & is set to release in theatres from 2^nd February.

Sameer Asha Patil has given us film like Chaurya. His next film was announced recently on the social media platforms on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The auditions for this film will be held this weekend in Pune.

The film has a rather unusual title “Yuntum”. The cast and other details of this film have not been announced as the makers of this film will be selecting the cast through auditions. The auditions for the main lead (age 14 to 20 years boys and girls) will be held at Sudarshan Hall, 421, near Ahilya Devi School, Pune on 8 and 9 September from 10 am to 6 pm.

Chaurya, a film by Sameer Asha Patil has created lot of anticipation among audience. The innovative promos and trailers have already promised us a good suspense thriller film. However, audience has to wait for some more days to see this film. The makers of the film have postponed the release of this film from 5th August to 19th August due to the flood situation in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra has been receiving heavy rainfalls since last two days, resulting in flood situation like Nasik, Satara, Pune, Raigad and Kolhapur. Mahabaleshwar catchment area has received more than 245 mms of rains since yesterday which resulted in flooding of river Savitri and a bridge collapse. As the situation is getting worse, NDRF, Armed Forces and other volunteers are working round the clock to ensure safety of the citizens.

Director Sameer Asha Patil told Marathistars.com, “Flood situation in Maharashtra is very bad. There are news of deaths and people losing shelters due to heavy rains. NDRF and our brave jawans are helping the needy once. We have taken the decision to postpone the release of our film. We want our all brothers and sisters to be in good spirit. Film can wait.”

The film stars Kishor Kadam, Milind Shinde, Ganesh Yadav, Pradeep Velankar, Digvijay Rohidas, Dinesh Lata Shetty, Tirrtha Murbadkar, Ganesh Panpat, Shruti Kulkarni in the lead roles. The film is produced by Navalakha Arts & Holy Basil Productions and Cine Leela Talkies.
