Victory chant in various international film festival.

Jayjaykar, a movie dealing with the issue of trans genders in a witty and positive way, is winning prestigious awards in different categories at various national and international film festivals. This is writer Shantanu Rode’s debut movie as a director. A non-conventional subject, powerful display of acting and the research basedstrong presentation of the movie are making an impression on the viewers of the film festivals even before a theatrical release.

The film had been chosen among 22 movies of different languages from India in the Viewing Room recommends section from the Juries of Film Bazar Festival of Goa. Sanjay Kulkarni has been awarded as Best Actor and Shantanu Rode as Best Debut Director at Kolhapur International Film Festival. Rode has awarded same at Jaipur International Film Festival. Veteran actor Dilip Prabhavalkar has been awarded as Best Actor and the film was given Viewer’s Choice award at Sangli International Film Festival. In Nasik International Film Festival, it has Golden Camera award as the best film on LGBT.

Also, the film has beenchosen at various film festivals like Pune International Film Festival, Third Eye Asian Film Festival and Aurangabad International Film Festival.

The film stars Dilip Prabhavalkar, Suhita Thatte, Sanjay Kulkarni, Bhushan Borgaonkar, Dhaval Pokale, Akash Shinde.
