After the super success of Jhakaas Heroine Season 1, 9X Jhakaas is all set to launch Jhakaas Heroine – Season 2. A talent hunt for a Heroine for an upcoming Marathi movie, the show will be aired from mid September on 9X Jhakaas. The winner of Jhakaas Heroine –Season 2 will get an opportunity to feature as the lead actress opposite Marathi movie heartthrob Swwapnil Joshi. The movie will be produced by one of the biggest and most reputed production houses.

The winner of season 1 – Prarthana Behere starred opposite Swwapnil Joshi in the superhit film Mitwaa also bagged many prestigious projects in the Marathi film industry.

Registrations for Jhakaas Heroine Season 2 will commence from 3rd August. Aspiring actresses can log on to www.jhakaasheroine.com and register their entries by submitting their photographs and videos which showcase their acting talent.

Jhakaas Heroine Season 2 will be judged by eminent names from the industry, from Actors and actresses to directors, singers, music composers and choreographers. The line up of judges include Swwapnil Joshi, Subodh Bhave, Vaibbhav Tatwawdi, Rakesh Bapat, Sonali Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Mukta Barve, Pooja Sawant, Vaidehi Parshurami, Satish Rajwade, Sachin Kundalkar, R.Mahesh, Swapna Wadhmare Joshi, Vaishali Samant, Amitraj and Phulva Khamkar.

This year the reality hunt show will be on a very large scale as production house has roped in one of the top Bollywood production house who will give a key role to the winner in their first Marathi movie production.

Synopsis : Shivam sarang, owner of Sarang group of hotels is the most eligible bachelor in Goa. He is successful, rich, stylish and a total casanova. Shivam does not believe in true love or marriage. He believes in having a good time.
Avni, Shivam Sarang’s childhood friend and business associate who, not known to him is in love with Shivam always tells him that someday he will meet a girl who will change his mind forever.
Nandini Natwardhan joins the hotel as an employee. Nandini is a kind of girl who lives in her own world. She shows no interest in Shivam what so ever and that really bother’s him. Avni finds this very amusing.
Nandini and Shivam have a rocky start but as days go by Nandini finds out that Shivam is a gem of a person and really cares about his staff. The captivating music of Mitwaa was launched creating the mood of love in the air even before Valentine’s Day.The much-awaited movie Mitwaa’s songswere launched by Shankar Ehsaanand Loy.The film is all set to release February 13, 2015.

From past few weeks the two songs ‘Saavar Re Mana…’ and ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram…’ of the movie has created huge buzz on channels and various digital platforms getting over One Lakh hits by the followers in short span. The songs are already the talk of the town and the remaining once are all set to delight listener’s ears. The biggest romantic saga of this year Mitwaa is aptly backed by the music and lyrics. The movie offers songs for various moods from fun; love to sacrifice where all four music directors have given their own elegance.

The music launch evening was filled with surprises and few LIVE performances in the presence of the entire team of Mitwaa Swwapnil Joshi, Sonalee Kulkarni, Prarthana Behere, Ila Bhate, Sangram Salvi, Aroona Iraani to mention few along with several dignitaries from Marathi and Bollywood fraternity.

Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa gave marvelous music to songs like ‘Tu Hi Re Maza Mitwaa…’ written by Mandar Cholkar and sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Jaanvee Prabhu Arora along with ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram…’ written by Mandar Cholkar and sung by Siddharth Mahadevan. Amitraj created the magic with ‘Dur Dur…’ written by Ashwini Shende and sung by Swapnil Bandodkar and National award winner BelaShende. Pankaj Padgan gave the foot tapping song ‘Evale Evale…’ written by Mangesh Kangne sung beautifully by HamsikaIyer. Nilesh Moharir created ‘Saavar Re Mana…’ written by Ashwini Shende and sung by Jaanvee Prabhu Arora and Swapnil Bandodkar with a beautiful chorography by PhulwaKhamkar.
