The Marathi remake of 1988’s classic Khoon Bhari Maang is in the making these days which is titled Bharla Malwat Rakhtaana. According to the latest buzz, Director Anup Jagdale has roped in Bold and Beautiful south indian actress Kavita Radheshyam to play the role which was originally enacted by Rekha.

Khoon Bhari Maang which was about a wealthy widow who is almost killed by her lover and sets out for revenge. The film was a comeback venture for Rekha in that year which worked wonders in favor of the diva and was a critical-commercial success too. Kavita tweeted with the film’s poster “Shooting 4 Marathi Remake Of Khoon Bhari Maang (Bharla Malwat Rakhtaana) From Tomorrow Onwards.. Very Excited.”

Bharla Malwat Rakhtaana is Kavita Radheshyam’s first ever Marathi debut. As for the role and the language goes, Without revealing much the actress said “I heard Marathi Film industry is filled with people who has huge and wonderful heart. I am a die hard fan of films such as Jogwaa, Balak Paalak (BP), Pachaadlela etc. I am sure if Maharashtrian People like my work, They will offer me more films. As far as my role in the film is concerned, Let me assure you that this one is the most challenging performance at my early stage of Acting. I am really thankful to the director Anup Jagdale for having faith in me.”

Kavita who is known as the latest version on Silk Smitha back home in Karnataka will also be seen in upcoming much anticipated Kannada action thriller Ragini IPS.

Where most of the celebrities are joining a bandwagon of creating their official Facebook accounts, Our own Kannada’s new version of Silk Smitha, Kavita Radheshyam has deactivated her Facebook profile recently. Sultry siren informed on Twitter account about shutting down her profile and “Promises” to be active on her official Twitter.

“There was no serious networking happening there and people with fake profiles approach you with wrong intentions. Every wannabe becomes a serious Film Maker or a Film personality and you cannot do anything about it. I was very much active on my Facebook account, But believe me, Not one single serious person approaches you with work or serious networking. I am working in some good projects and all these projects approached me directly.” said Kavita Radheshyam.

The actress who always stayed in news for reasons such as giving a sexy photo-shoot tribute to late Silk Smitha to refusing Bigg Boss season 5 wild card entry offer agreed there are good people networking on the world’s biggest social networking site, But some Losers try and give bad name to the genuine people.

“I had a very small friend list in my Facebook profile that consist of genuine people. But what i really hate about Facebook is there are so many Celebrities account which are Fake and by the time you come to know, It’s too late. Even the Police Authority refuses any help here because the procedure takes a long time. The second thing which irritated me the most is any wannabe Loser projects himself as a Film maker and tries to act funny with you by sending you cheap messages even if he is not in your Friend-list.” concluded Kavita.

Kavita is looking forward to the release of her most hyped Kannada action thriller Ragini IPS. She is also doing another Kannada Film along with a Marathi and a Hindi film which she refused to divulge any details.

The 4th Jagran Film Festival started off to a rousing start with the ceremonial tradition of lighting a lamp by Chief Guest Akshay Kumar and Indian Film and Stage Actress Nimrat Kaur who was seen in the recent critically acclaimed film The Lunchbox lit the lamp.

Spotted at the event was Marathi cinema’s hot actress Sai Tamhankar and south indian sultry actress Kavita Radheshyam who came to see Sanjay Jadhav’s super hit Marathi feature film Duniyadari and opening Israeli-Palestinian acclaimed film Water respectively. The opening ceremony’s red carpet, followed by film screening witnessed an illustrious gathering of filmmakers, renowned litterateurs, cinephiles and scribes.

The first day also witnessed eminent Film makers such as Anil Sharma and Sudhir Mishra along with Mayor of Mumbai Mr.Sunil Prabhu. This 4th edition of the Jagran Film Festival, Mumbai 2013 is scheduled from the 24th – 29th September, 2013 at Fun Republic, Andheri West, Mumbai.
