The First look launch & Music of “Welcome Zindagi” unveiled by show casing a video footage on Dadashaeb Phalke ‘s passion which gave birth to Indian cinema and today we have successfully completed 102 year of Indian Cinema over at the event Guest of Honor” Mr. Salim khan” gave tribute to the father of Indian cinema and launched the music of the film in presence of the cast & crew of the film & media.

On Behalf of the Launch Mr. Salim khan gave the entire team his best wishes & revealed few secrets saying that me & Mr. Javed where only very good in narration but our writing was so horrible that we too couldn’t make out the next day what’ s written on the page so from 1975 on wards Mr. Honey Chhaya is to write our narrated stories with his beautiful Hand writing and today the second generation that is Bibhas Chhaya his son also work’s for me and is also the producer of the film which gives me immense pleasure that today i give the Honor of Launching this Music box to Honey Chhhaya first ….

Salim Khan, one of the most respected writers in Hindi film industry was given an honour as “Garv Maharashtracha” in a recently held MICTA awards in Dubai. The ceremony also awarded best talents in Marathi film industry and theatre. The event was held in Dubai from 18 to 22 February.

Salim Khan, who paired with Javed Akhtar to pen some super hit like Sholay and Don said that this was infact a proud moment for him. His simple yet elegant made speech made everyone emotional. This year onwards, Zenda Rovila award will be given to the Marathi NRIs who have achieved exceptional success in their field. This year famous architect Ashok Korgaonak was awarded for this category.

The star-studded event witnessed some spectacular dance performances and funny skits. The best film award was given to Rege. Rege also won several awards for Screenplay-direction- Abhijeet Panse, Dialogues Praveen Tarade, Cinematography- Mahesh Limaye, Art direction- Santosh Futane.

Kishor Kadam was given best supporting actor for Fandry while Riteish Deshmukh collected the trophy for best actor for his double role in Lai Bhari. Iravati Harshe won award for best actress for her role in Astu. Somnath Avaghade and Suraj Pawar won Best Child actor. Other award winners are: Mohan Agashe for best supporting actor (Astu), Best Supporting actress – Amruta Subhash (Astu), Lai Bhari also won award for best Music (Ajay Atul)

In the theatre category Mr and Mrs became the best award winner. Zopala won best Jury Award and Gosht Tashee gamateechee won viewer’s choice award. Priayadarshan Jadhav (Direction), Chinmay Mandlekar (Actor) and Madhura Velankar (Best Actress) were awarded for Mr and Mrs. Best Supporting actor was given to Shashank Ketkar for Gosht Tashe gamateechee and Aishwarya Narkar was awarded as Amhi Sau Kumud Prabhakar Apte.
