Samarth Internationals Films and producers Mukund Mhatre and Eknath Bhopi and director Vishal Gaikwad’s ‘Runh’ had it’s first look at suburban theater in Mumbai . At this occasion present were actors Narayani Shastri, Jayraj Nayar, director Vishal Gaikwad, music directors Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur, DOP Najeeb Khan, dialogue writer Ajitem Joshi, and many other celebs.

Narayani Shastri who has made a comeback in Marathi films after 10 years was very impressed with the script and says, ” Upon hearing the script I immediately decided to do the film because only a Marathi film could do justice to a subject like this and especially for a female character to play a character of an eunuch is very challenging. I have worked hard on essaying this character and have put on 15 kgs to portray this character” .Director Vishal Gaikwad says that he was at a loss of words when he went to Narayani to narrate this character but luckily he says Narayani was quite taken up with this script of mine and she immediately said yes. Rajeshwari Sachdev and Manoj Joshi and Omkar Goverdhan, Vinay Apte, Vijay Patkar. Vivek Lagoo, Usha Naik and Jayraj Nayar also star in the film.. Debutants Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipurhave composed the music with lyrics by Guru Thakur and Prakalp Wani.This different love story releases on 15 May all over Maharashtra.

Recently, the film ‘RUNH’’s music was launched in a spectacular program at Juhu. Nowaday’s many stars, technicians, directors and producers of Hindi film industries are attracted towards significantly growing world of Marathi movies. Continuing this trend first time music director duo Sangeet Haldipur and Siddharth Haldipur have given innovative music for unique movie “RUNH”.

This musical duo have composed four songs with fabulous music. Title song of “RUNH” is “Runh fitata fitena” is written by Prakalp Vani and has Divya kumar’s voice. Well known Marathi lyricist Guru Thakur has written “Jagane kasale aavhan ithe, Din rat nave Chalenare, Jagtati tari vanvyathi ya aayushyala bhidnare” and well known singers from Hindi film industry Shaan Mukherjee has given his melodious voice. This unique song has Marathi and Assamese words and Sangeet, Siddharth duo have done an exceptional experiment in this song which is one of its kinds; its Assamese part is sung by Keshab Barua. Similarly one more song with English and Marathi words “Gondhal gondhal ghaluya” written by Dr. Ganesh Chandan Sheve and sung by him with Sayantani Das. There is one more song by Guru Thakur with words “Samjena samjena” sung by Nandini Sarkar.
