Tee Phulrani, an adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion by P L Deshpande has created a history on Marathi stage. This play will be now adapted as a film by director Amol Shetge. Rajashree Landge and Subodh Bhave will be playing main characters in this film.

Rajashree Landge was earlier seen in films like Gadhavache Lagna and Citizen. She will portray title role of this film.  After delivering a super hit “Katyar Kaljat Ghusali” Subodh will be seen in the role of a professor for this film.

Citizen– a new film directed by Amol Shetge carries a tale of friendship since its inception. The filn has been produced by three friends- actress Rajshree Landge, Amol Shetge and cinemtographer Suresh Deshmane. Three friends came together to make a film which will appeal to the today’s generation and will address their problems.

The story of the film has been written by Amol Shetge and Rajshree Landge. The music has been composed by Avinash – Vishwajeet. The cinematography is by Suresh Deshmane and editing is by Sarvesh Parab.

The film stars Rajshree Landge, Rakesh Vashisht, Yateen Karyekar, Pushkar Shrotri, Uday Tikekar, Nandini JOg, Shreerang Deshmukh, Madhav Devchakke, Kaustubh Diwan, Sushma Deshpande, Rishi Deshpande, Prateek Janjire and Sunil Ranade.

The film releases on 16 October all over Maharashtra.
