For some it was their parents & for some their friends. Soon the promos of Zee Yuva’s ‘Baapmanus’ started flashing on T.V. & we got how ‘Baapmanus’ was associated with Suyash Tilak!

Zee Yuva’s upcoming serial ‘Baapmanus’ appears distinctly different from the word go! A story a larger than life good fatherly figure to the whole village portrayed by senior actor Ravindra Mankani & his son played by Suyash Tilak, who feels it’s his responsibility to continue the great work of his father! This serial also stars Pooja Pawar, Pallavi Patil, Sangram Samel, Sanjay Kulkarni, Shivraj Walvekar, Namrata Awate among others. The film Dhondi will be releasing on 9 June. The film stars late Vinay Apte in an important role thus making it a last film by the talented actor.

The film also stars National Award winner Vivek Chabukswar, Sayaji Shinde, Pooja Pawar, Kishor Chaugule, Raghavendra Kadkol, Suhasini Deshpande, Usha Naik.

The film is based on farmer suicide issue and what tricks a 10 year old son plays to stop his father from ending his own life will be seen in this film.

The film is produced by Soil Events and Entertainments by Shivajirao Jadhav, Santosh Sutar, Nikhil Nangude. The film is directed by Monish Uddhav Pawar. Rohit Pandit, Monish Pawar are the writers while DoP is Dinesh Satankar. Music for the film is composed by Kiran Raj.

The film will be releasing on 9 June all over Maharashtra.

Singer Sonu Nigam is one more addition to the non Marathi singers making waves in Marathi music industry. He is not new to Marathi films having sung popular songs like ‘Hirva Nisarg‘ in Navra Majha Navsacha and the recent hit ‘Tik Tik Vajte‘ from the super hit Duniyadari. Now he is all set to sing two sings for the same Marathi film which is Ajay Phansekar’s written and directed film ‘Cheater‘ which was recorded in a Mumbai studio after taking the mahurat for producer Swiss Entertainment.

The music is composed by debutant Abhijeet Narvekar who was an arranger and an instrument player in Sonu Nigam’s shows. He says, “When I told Sonujee that I will be composing for a Marathi film , he immediately expressed a desire to sing for me and I was pleasantly surprised as it was my first film and that Sonujee to sing for me really took me aback.and it was a big achievement for me. After recording the first song , I approached hesitantly to Sonujee to record a second song and he immediately said yes. Both the songs are duets sung by Anandi Joshi with Sonujee. Both the songs are of different genre and there are a total of four songs in the film. I am thankful to director Ajay Phansekar for giving me my first big break”

From the title ‘Cheater’ one can ascertain as to what the film is all about. But wait for the film to release to know more about the film which is being shot on the beautiful locales of Mauritius and the second schedule will be shot in Wai .The film is written, scripted, and with screenplay , story,and direction by Ajay Phansekar. The film boasts of brilliant performances from stars like Asawari Joshi, Hrishikesh Joshi, Vaibhav Tatwavadi, Pooja Sawant, and Suhas Joshi. The DOP Is B.Laxman. Lyrics by Akhil Joshi. The film is set for an early release.

Story Outline : The story depicts the true denotation of love, where barriers of status, caste, careers cannot hinder the true love.

Shekhar, even though a politician’s i.e. Dadasaheb Patil’s son, aspire to wander in the field of art and does not want to follow the path his father has paved. Komal, is Lavani Dancer in her Tamasha Phad, has a murky past, where she has lost her mother, has a responsibility of her ailing younger brother. Shekhar, after seeing Komal’s financial condition, helps to meet the medical expenses for her brother. He gives her Lavani programs in the election campaign of his father, which brings them closer.

Devayani, Shekhar’s childhood friend, is a daughter of an activist-teacher. Devayani, works as a volunteer at a social organization. She has lost her mother, but Shekhar’s mother fills up this empty space. Devayani has a soft corner about Shekhar.

One horrific incident in Komal’s childhood, where Komal’s mother is performing a solo, suffers an abusive attempt, runs from that bungalow & fetches a hide out at one place, but there also her fate does not favour her.

Shekhar & Komal come closer & closer during the election campaign programs. But, Komal’s pure love towards Shekhar starts taking many repulsive twists & her love fetches a horrendous turn. Nandumama, Komal’s father, realizes that the program, which becomes reason to loss of his wife, has been organized by Dadasaheb Patil. He asks Komal to take revenge of Shekhar.

The vengeance with Dadadasaheb, brings a horrific fate to the lovers. Shekhar’s father, Dadasaheb, & his mother impedes & tries to dissuade his son and marry with Devayani. All this brings the relationship on the verge of breakup.

Whether Komal takes revenge of Shekhar ? Whether Shekhar marries Devayani ? Whose love ultimately prevails?

Sacrifices, trust, friendship, love are the values that are been woven in the winning trail of Love in “GONDAN”.
