First look poster of the film Red was unveiled recently on social media. The film will be dubbed in Marathi very soon.

The film revolves around J Dey Muder case and its investigation by some crime reporters. The film is directed by Nandita Singgha who has earlier directed films in similar genres.

She sommened,“ I wanted to portray the emotions of crime journalists through the First Look Poster.” She further adds, “ One has to think like a criminal and as a crime journalist simultaneously to do justice to crime based stories as there is a concoction of mindset, motive, emotions, revelations. The Screenplay & Dialogues in crime based movies play a major role..”

It seems that Marathi film industry is attracting everybody! After Marathi audience has witnessed Bollywood heroes producing Marathi films, south Indian girls as leading heroines, and Malayalam directors remaking their films in Marathi, now everyone else wants to work for Marathi films.

Nandita Singha, a producer –director of some forgettable films like Main Rony aur Johny will be producing a Marathi film. Nandita wishes to remake old Marathi classics and release them worldwide. She will be investing Rs. 250 crore in the upcoming five years in cinema.

Nandita Singha is keener in making remakes on Marathi films and songs. According to her, Marathi films are generally shown film festivals and seldom release in theatres internationally. Singha will be releasing her Marathi films worldwide.

Singha also commented on her upcoming film based on J Dey Murder. Neeraj Pandey (director of Wednesday, Baby) will be a part of this project.
