Everest Entertainment presents ‘Baapjanma’. The teaser poster of this upcoming film produced by Sanjay Chhabria & Sumatilal Shah was recently revealed. Forbes award winner theatre director & actor Nipun Dharmadhikari is making his film debut as a director with ‘Baapjanma’. This film will be releasing in theatres on 15th September 2017.

‘Baapjanma’ is presented by makers of hits like Mi Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Shikshanachya Aaycha Gho, Hapus, Ideachi Kalpana, Tukaram, Aajcha Divas Majha, Happy Journey, Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Time Please, Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2. Everest Entertainment is one of the most respected film companies in Marathi.

Nipun Dharmadhikari though being a director has now become a household name since his popular web show ‘Casting Couch with Amey & Nipun’. Theatre lovers are also aware about Nipun’s versatile talents. He has been actively involved in all three commercial, experimental & musical theatre scenes in Marathi & beyond too! As a writer & character actor he was also part of the Bollywood film ‘Nautanki Saala’ which starred Ayushman Khurana. In Marathi Nipun was seen playing a small role in ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ & a substantial role in ‘Highway’.

Nipun Dharmadhikari, one of the most talented artists working in the Marathi entertainment industry is all set to bring us his directorial debut ‘Baap Janma’. The film is presented by Everest Entertainment & is produced by Sumatilal Shah & ‘Sixteen by Sixty-Four’.

Nipun has previously acted in Umesh Kulkarni’s ‘Highway’ & has been active on Marathi theatre in both commercial & experimental scenes as director. But it’s web show for Bharatiya Digital Party ‘Casting Couch with Amey & Nipun’ that made him a household name. The cast of this film has not been revealed yet, but most likely we might get to see Amey Wagh in this film. The theme of the film revolves around fatherhood & not many times have we seen Marathi films made on this subject.

Nipun Dharmadhikari is one of the few Marathi artists whose work has been acknowledged internationally. Nipun had been honored as one of Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 in the year 2015.
