A few months ago we saw the theme song ‘Tufaan Aalaya’ of this initiative directed by Nagraj Manjule & a competition/show is soon following up. ‘Tufaan Aalaya’ has three teams Vidharbha Yoddha, Marathwada Veer & Paschim Maharashtrache Mavale!

From 8th April every Saturday we can witness ‘Tufaan Aalaya’ on many different Marathi T.V. channels! ABP Majha: 9pm, IBN Lokmat: 9 pm, Zee Marathi: 9.30 pm, Colors Marathi: 9.30 pm, Star Pravah: 9.30 pm, Doordarshan Sahyadri: 10 pm & Zee 24 Taas: 11 pm! From 9th April you can also watch it every Sunday on Jay Maharashtra at 9 am.

Mr. Perfectionist Amir Khan recently visited sets of Zee Marathi’s Chala Hawa Yeoo Dya for the promotion of his NGO Pani Foundations “Water Cup” initiative. This event was organized in the three talukas last year. This year, the event will take place in more than thirty talukas. Along with Amir, Kiran Rao, Satyajit Bhatkal and renowned water expert Dr. Avinash Pol were also present for this program. The show will be telecasted on 27th and 28th March on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa at 9:30 pm on Zee Marathi.

After hosting a program like Satyamev Jayate, Amir has started taking interest in the social causes. He has started a competition to save water, and to increase the storage of water in draught-affected areas. Amir passionately tells audience about his experiences from these talukas and how simple water harvesting techniques are making their life easier during hot summer. Various villagers also narrated their experience about this water cup.

As the show will be telecasted on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa, Amir celebrated the Marathi new year by erecting the traditional Gudhi on the sets of Chala Hawa Yeoo Dya. Do not forget to watch these episodes on Zee Marathi on 27 and 28 March at 9:30 pm.

Recently Sai Tamhankar associated with Amir Khan and visited Varud region in Amravati along with Sunil Barve and veteran actress Reema Lagoo to initiate the water conservation activities.

Aamir Khan’s Paani Foundation aims to communicate, impart knowledge and bring about a change in outlook among people at the grassroots about water conservation and watershed management. A competition has been organized where villages will be involved in water conservation activities, with the winning village bagging a cash prize. Many celebrities have voiced in their support for this initiative. Sai Tamhankar has also stepped forward to contribute to such a great initiative and taken an action for the same.

His tweet sayd that, “Just got to know that Pinjra V Shantaram’s last film has been restored and re-released in the theatres, we dont often get to see films by our great film makers in the theatre, I am definitely going for it!”

Most of the top Bollywood filmmakers has been generously appreciating Saturday Sunday, the first ever Gangster film in Marathi which is directed by Makrand Deshpande. The special show of Saturday Sunday was recently held in a grand manner in Mumbai and the presence of the Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan turned out to be the major attraction of the show. Aamir enjoyed watching the special screening along with prominent actors and technicians from the film industry. Aamir was impressed to see the love of the Marathi film buffs towards the film and the way the auditorium was packed with his fans. After watching the trailer Aamir Khan’s first reaction was very spontaneous. “The film will be super hit. Due to elements like emotions, action and the wide variety of the characters, the film has been successful in engaging the audience. Aamir said, “He also added that if he gets a good script then he will definitely work in a Marathi film in future and produce it as well.”

Director Makrand Deshpande expressed the view that since the film has received appreciation from none other than Aamir Khan who is known as Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, the film will surely get excellent response.
