Usha Mangeshkar, known for her seductive voice behind many hit songs like Mungala and Ek Lajran sajra will be performing at Shanmukhanand Hall on 10 September at 7:30 PM. This performance will be a tribute to her musical gurus. The event is called “Superhit Marathi Music Masti” and has been organized by Peoples Art Centre.

Along with Ushatai, singers like Sudesh Bhosle, Swapnil Bandodkar, Vaishali Samant, Adarsh Shinde, Bela Shendye will be performing for this program. Mansi Naik will be dancing on some superhit songs of Usha Mangeshkar. Theevent will be hosted by Pushkar Shrotri.

The tickets will be available at the venue from 10 am to 7 pm

International Marathi Film Festival (IMFF) which felicitates the Marathi films on international level will be held in Mauritius very soon. The renowned festival which will be organised joint collaboration by Shardul Creations and CMA Foundation at Mauritius in June is already creating waves in the film industry. The unveiling ceremony of the Trophy of the International Marathi Film Festival recently took place in a grand function in Mumbai by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. Prominent personalities from various fields were present at the function such as Shirish Rane of Shardul Creations, Virendra Ramdhan, President of Hinu House Mauritius, Chairman of Best Committee Nana Ambole, MLA Pankaj Bhujbal, director cum actor Vijay Patkar, Chairman of Mhada Prasad Lad, President of Maharashtra Vyapari Peth Anant Bhalekar, Mahendra Singh of Tirupati Balaji Group, Pareshji Seth of CMA group, Rahul Patil from R.R.Group, L.C.Pujari of Alta Vista,Actor Adesh Bandekar. Many renowned personalities from film industry such as noted producer cum director Mahesh Kothare, Singer Padmaja Phenani, Vaishali Samant, singer Sudesh Bhosale, Swapnil Bandodkar, actor Jitendra Joshi, Sunil Barve,Vijay Kadam, Jaywant Wadkar, Hrishikesh Joshi, Abhijit Kelkar, Sushant Shelar, Paddy Kamble, actor Nisha Parulekar, director Samruddhi Porey were also present.

The International Marathi Film Festival 2014 which will held in June at Mauritius will have super entertaining programs which will feature prominent Marathi stars. It will be a complete treat for the audience which will include dance, music, comedy etc. Along with the ceremony, a wide variety of programmes have been organised. It will also include a special seminar in which all the information regarding the permission which the filmmakers need to shoot film in Mauritius will be given. A discussion on the subject will also be organised which will include the concessions given by the Mauritius government, information regarding getting the permission, subsidyetal. Many cultural programmes will also be organised in the International Marathi Film festival.
