Zee Yuva’s Sangeet Samrat season was hugely loved by the viewers and now it is all set to make a comeback with season 2. The show has undergone some new changes and will appear in a completely new avatar. The show will welcome talents from all over Maharashtra to come and display their musical skills on stage.

One of the major changes in this year’s show format is the introduction of Captains. The captains will be none other than the mentors who will help the contestants grow ahead in the competition. The first episode will highlight the basic selection process of the participants and division of the teams. The captains get to choose who they wish to keep on their team. An introduction to the entirely new concept is what will be the main focus of the initial episodes.

With judges like Adarsh Shinde and Rahul Deshpande, the contestants are definitely under safe hands. A nationwide hunt to scout for Maharashtra’s most talented musicians and singers began earlier this month across 6 cities namely – Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Pune, Mumbai, Nashik and Nagpur. To groom and hone the talent this year, our four mentors Juilee Joglekar, Abhijeet Kosambi, Rahul Saxena and Savaniee Ravindrra will play an important role. This season promises the viewers a bag full of surprises, watch Sangeet Samrat Season 2 starting from 13th June from Wednesday to Friday at 9:30 PM only on Zee Yuva!

Zee Yuva’s ‘Sangeet Samrat’ is that one platform that celebrates the magic of all kinds of musicians on one stage! Season 2 of Sangeet Samrat will soon be on air. The auditions of Sangeet Samrat have already begun! The auditions started from 11^th May at Nashik, 12^th May at Nagpur, 13^th May at Pune.

Now the auditions of Aurangabad, Kolhapur & Mumbai are set to commence. If you have missed at the earlier venues, you should definitely try for these venues. The auditions will start from 7 am in the morning. There are no restrictions on performers, they can be in groups or individual!

Zee Yuva’s first musical reality show ‘Sangeet Samrat’ was a huge success. It only added to the rich music culture of Maharashtra. Now Zee Yuva is all set to again give opportunities to aspiring musicians all over Maharashtra. Yes season 2 of ‘Sangeet Samrat’ is soon commencing!

Similar to the first season entries will be open to all different kinds of musicians & singer who perform in groups or individually. The auditions too will be as exhaustive as they were previously. All major cities of Maharashtra will be having audition centres.

We saw in the first season how modern music & traditional music were mixed up together to form a new modern rendition. Season 2 of ‘Sangeet Samrat’ will discover new magic of it’s ow! So be ready & double up your rehearsals we will keep you informed as soon as the auditions dates are out!
