Ashok Shinde, who has been playing various roles as a hero, villain and character roles will soon returning to the stage after the gap of 12 years in a Marathi play “Prem.. prem asate” Shinde has worked in more than 100 films and played various characters. His most famous character is Yashwant Patkar from “Swapnachya Palikadale” serial, which had aired more than 1300 episode.

Ashok Shinde will play the role of Pritam Bandekar, and Maithili Warang will enact the role of his wife. Other cast includes Pankaj Khamkar and Gauri Deshpande. The play is produced by Santosh Amberkar, Shekhar Manjavkar and written-directed by Santosh Amberkar. First show of this play will be on 2 July at Mumbai.
