While our audiences regularly watch films with all the passion, they are not really aware of the world behind the camera in films! As there are not many Marathi films that show this world through films. And hence Shashank Ketkar & Mayuri Deshmukh starrer ‘31 Divas‘ is dealing with a unique subject with the right blend of entertainment.

The trailer of the film introduces us to an aspiring filmmaker played by Shashank Ketkar who is looking for an opportunity. But he faces a huge personal obstacle in his journey. Yet he overcomes it & decides to make his film in an extremely unique way.

That way as depicted in the trailer is the idea of preparing for the shoot for 30 days & then shooting the film in just one day! Hence the title ’31 days’! This idea sounds very interesting & makes us excited for the film. While we aren’t sure of such real acts of making cinema in one day in India, in Hollywood such attempts have been made recently!

‘Khulta Kali Khulena’ fame Mayuri Deshmukh aka ‘Manasi’ got married to actor/producer Ashutosh Bhakre a few months ago. The serial has currently taken in a leap of four years & both the lead characters are now presented in a new look.

The character of ‘Manasi’ has made a special place in the hearts of the Marathi audiences after all this time. And the love for the overall serial too hasn’t decreased one bit. Mayuri was previously seen in the highly acclaimed Marathi film ‘Dr. Prakash Baba Amte’.

Khulata Kali Khulena, a new serial based on the love and relationships will start on Zee Marathi from 18 July at 8:30 pm on weekdays. This is a story of Deshpande and Dalvi family. Zee Marathi has decided to shut down Vaibhav Mangale’s “Majhe Pati Saubhagyavati” due to poor ratings and has focused on age-old formula of marriage and love with this new serial.

Influential Dalvi family is a joint family where Parvati Ajji is a matriarch. Her grandson Dr. Vikrant gets engaged to the grand-daughter of Mr. Deshpande- Monica. However, the things become uncertain as a third person enters in this relationship. He bridges these two families and comes closer to Monica. However, what happens next when the relationships get strained because of this new person? How Deshpande and Dalvi family will cope up with such turn of events will be seen in this serial.

The serial stars Usha Nadkarni, Savita Prabhune, Sanjay Mone, Lokesh Gupte, Sharvari Lohkare, Mansi Maggikar and Asha Shelar in lead roles. Dr. Vikrant Dalvi has been played by Omprakash Shinde. Abhidnya Naik and Mayuri Deshpande will be seen as lead female in this serial. The serial has been directed by Hemant Deodhar.

Story Outline : You can close your eyes to things you don’t want to see, but you can’t close your heart to things you don’t want to feel. Dr. Vikrant, who is a renowned Gynecologists by profession and a chivalrous gentleman, will be tying the knot with a beautiful girl named Monica – a correct match basis horoscope chosen by the family.
