  Story Outline :

  “Love thy neighbours” is the mantra towards a cordial relationship. In the new show though, the duo Pushkar & Sangram have taken it literally. These two incorrigible flirts crave for attention from each other’s wives who stay in the neighborhood. The new show being a sitcom, the plot revolves around two nuclear families viz. Pushkar-Shalu & Sangram-Kaveri. Pushkar, an elite professional works with a beauty products company; his wife Shalini is a fitness freak & conducts Zumba classes. She imposes her Zumba & fitness advices on Pushkar & he is annoyed of this. On the other hand, Sangram is rustic & is the owner of exotic vegetable shop. His pretty wife cooks amazingly well and lives a simple life. She truly is a ‘pativrata’. While, the ladies are engrossed in their daily routines, Pushkar & Sangram are trying to impress Kaveri & Shalu respectively. The men go the extra mile to come off as gentlemen, but in essence are still devilishly hopeless jerks at heart!

Aditya  Paithankar  starred Gopya’s music launch was done recently in Mumbai. “Ganesh Film & Entertainment” Presentation “Gopya” is a predominantly musical film and it is slated for release all over Maharashtra on April 21. The film is directed by Raj Paithankar.

On the occasion, present were the singers, music director and the director of the film. Kiran-Raj has composed the songs and lyrics are by Raj Paithankar. Kiran has sung “Taana Na Taana Na…” and “Tu Tujhya Jeevanacha Shilpakar…” while Neha Rajpal has sung “Kaay Asa Kela Mee Gunaha…” Master Rohit Wagh has crooned the number “Aapli Khod Kuni Kaadaichi Nahi…”

Besides Aditya  Paithankar who has played  the title role, the film also stars Madhavi  Juvekar, Kamlesh Sawant, Manisha Paithankar, Uday Sabnis, Jaywant Wadkar, Ajay Jadhav, Sameer Vijayan, Rajesh Bhosle, Prakash Dhotre, Amir Tadwalkar, Manasi Murudkar and Ajit Jadhav.

The film is produced by Amol Bhalerao, Nitin Pagare and Raj Paithankar and co-produced by Sarjerao Mote, Atulraje Gayali and Dhanaji Gaikwad and Subhash Jagadhne.  

Raj Paithankar who has dabbled in direction as well as lyrics has also written the subject. Yogesh Sabnis has written the screenplay and the dialogues.  Cinematography is by Aniket K while Art Direction is by Devdatt Raut and Nandu Moharkar. Atul Salve is the production executive while Chinni Chetan is the choreographer. Sonu Paitankar has designed the sound for the film while Vishal Kotkar has edited the film.

Keeping in my mind the taste of the audience, Zee Talkies has consistently provided wholesomely entertaining content to the viewers. Now they have made an exclusively unique experiment. Zee Talkies has produced Marathi’s first silent thriller-horror movie.

‘Tathastu’ is one of a kind silent thriller & the first in Marathi. The film won’t have a single dialogue & hence other aspects like the concept-story, the performances of actors & of course the direction’s vision will all come into play. The length of the film is 1 hr only. Which means it will be one sharp satire that can definitely send shivers down our spine. The film stars talented actors like Sandip Pathak & Madhavi Nimkar in prominent roles. Zee Talkies deserves credit for helping such new experiments & exposing them to the audience of Maharashtra.

It will be interesting to see what more experiments Zee Talkies comes up with in the near future. As of now don’t forget to experience this extremely rare cinematic experiment, ‘Tathastu’ on 3rd & 4th December (Saturday-Sunday) at 10 pm only on Zee Talkies.

A film dedicated to all the back-benchers- says the tagline of Satish Motling’s new Marathi movie“35% Kathavar Pass”. Theatrical Trailer of this film has been released recently. The film stars Prathamesh Parab in a leading role.

The film also stars Bhagyashree Sankpal (as Aarti) and Yashoman Apte (as Tanish Kumar) as friends of Sairaj (played by Prathamesh Parab). The back-benchers are enjoying their college life. However, as love interest of Sairaj enters in the college everything changes. Nikita (lovely Ayali Ghiya) a studious student comes in the college and creates havoc in the lives of these three back-benchers. The film also stars Sanjay Narvekar, Madhavi Juvekar, Sushant Shelar, Neha Pendse and Usha Nadkarni.

The film is produced and directed by Satish Motling. The film will be releasing on 20th May all over Maharashtra.

Prathamesh Parab seems to be a very lucky guy. After romancing with Ketaki Mategaonkar and Mitali Mayekar in his previous films, this time he gets gorgeous Ayli Ghiya as a lady love in his next 35% Kathavar pass.

The new song from this film has been released on youtube recently. Sung by Adarsh Shinde and Sayali Pankaj, this romantic love ballad has been shot at very picturesque locations of Thailand.

Prathamesh looks at ease in his lover boy image. Ayli looks very dazzling and astonishing in her red dress. The shots with the waves of ocean look very romantic and exotic. The music has been composed by Pankaj Padghan and lyrics are penned by Omkar Datt. The treatment of this song is very fresh like a summer breeze.

We especially liked the wittiness of the lyrics where a guy tells her that he has been buking classes for her and yet he does not know whether he is pass or fail. Too good for a film like this where hero is a student of junior college!

Spirit- a new play written by Vijay Nikam will debut on the stage on 22 October on the occasion of Dasara. The play stars Rajesh Deshpande, Madhavi Juvekar, Sandesh Jadhav, Sandesh Upasham, Sameer Penkar, Mangesh Salvi, Shraddha Mohite and Rasika Vengurlekar et al. The play has been produced by Ashok Shigvan.

The plot of the play revolves around a rich businessman and his party in a lavish restaurant for all his staff including his peon. The play is a satirical take on the current generation’s consumerism and how it affects humanity. The set design for this play has been done by Sandesh Bendre and lights are by Sheetal Talpade. The music for the play has been given by Parikshit Bhatkhande.

Dagadabaiche Chaal, a film starring Rajpal Yadav recently released its music in a grand function. The film is produced by Dattatary Bhaguji Hingne, under the banner of Jai Bhole Films Production. Along with direction, Sunil Wailkar has also written the story and screen play for the said film. Dialouges are written by Abhijit Pendharkar.

Lyrics for the film songs are written by Nachiket Jog, whereas, music is given by Kedar Pandit and Ajay-Adwait.
