In recent times many Marathi stars are making a transition to Bollywood! Adinath Kothare is the newest addition to this list. And one man from Bollywood has been a common factor who is working with our Marathi actors & is giving them deserved respect & adulation! That Bollywood star is Ranvir Singh! In his recent films, he has consistently worked alongside Marathi actors. Whether it is Simmba where Siddharth Jadhav & Vaidehi Parshurami had important roles or Gully Boy where Amruta Subhash played his mother!

Adinath Kothare will be playing the role of one of India’s greatest batsman Dilip Vengsarkar in the film about the 1983 Cricket World Cup which India won. The lead role will be of Kapil Dev as he was the captain of the Indian team & Ranvir Singh will be portraying Kapil Paaji! The 1983 World cup changed the face of Indian cricket forever & hence the film has a huge social & cultural importance!

It would be interesting to see who would be playing Sunil Gavaskar in this film! And what would be the relationship between Kapil Dev & Gavaskar in the film! Adinath Kothare has recently turned into a filmmaker with his debut film ‘Paani’ & now he is starting his new acting inning in Bollywood.
