Zee Talkies will broadcast Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Chitrapat Samnan Awards event on 19 June at 7 pm. The event will honor best of the Marathi films in 2015 and also include live performances by various Marathi actors and dancers.

The performances include Shiva Tandav Dance by Mayuresh Pem and dance performances by Mansi Naik, Adinath Kothare, Raqesh Bapat, Vaidehi Parshurami, Pooja Sawant, Sanskruti Balgude, Shruti Marathe, Dipali Sayyad, Vaibhav Tattvavadi. The event also has skits by Atul Todankar, Arun Kadam, Abhijeet Chavan, Prajakta Mali, Priyadarshan Jadhav.

The nominations for various Awards are as following:

• Best Film: Lai Bhari, Candle March, Elizabeth Ekadashi, Rege, Tapal.
• Best Director: NishikantKamat (Lai Bhari), Laxman Utekar (Tapal), Paresh Mokahi (Elizabeth Ekadashi), Abhijeet Panse (Rege), Ganesh Kadam (Viti Dandu).
• Best Actor: Ritesh Deshmukh (Lai Bhari), Subodh Bhave (Lokmany), Ankush Chaudhari (Classmates), Sumit Raghavan (Sandook).

• S.K organized Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Film Honor Award Event
• S.K organized Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime achievement Award to famous actress Sarla Yewalekar.
• “Candle March” film won Dadasaheb Phalke award for Best Film.

Recently the colorful & honored Event, Dadasaheb Phalke Awards took place at Grand Hayyat Hotel at Santacruz. It was the third year of this Award function. Adv. Mohanrao Pimple is the president of Dadasaheb Phalke M.S.K Trust.

In this award function Actress Sarla Yewalekar felicitate by Kiran Shantaram with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award.

Actress Sarla Yewalekar while expressing her feelings said, “I am feeling so happy that I cannot express that feeling in words. I have received many awards by now but I have received Lifetime Achievement Award with Dadasaheb’s Name which is higher than any award. I am so glad that I came in this industry. I thank everyone who helped me till date for everything.”

Cultural & Education Minister Shri Vinodji Tawade was present for this function.

Shri Vinodji Tawade said, “First of all I thank you all for inviting me for this function. Actually I get such invitations but I don’t go many times because I feel cultural minister should show his presence through his work instead of his presence on stage for giving awards. To make Prime Time shows available for Marathi films in Multiplex is the duty of Cultural Minister. I came here for two reasons. One is Dipali Tai once stand for election and one political body should stand behind another political body. And the other one last time when I was present with Hon. Chief Minister I made an announcement that Dadasaheb Phalke should written in Marathi So I came to see whether it is written in Marathi this year or not. As before every cinema National Anthem is played in every theater we are making one rule in near time that short documentary of Dadasaheb Phalke of 30 seconds should have been shown.”

Mrunmayee Deshpande and Siddharth Chandekar were hosting this show. It was filled with many Dance activities, Music and comedy skits played by many Marathi artist.
In this Dadasaheb Phalke MSK trust organized award function from 1^st April 2014 to September 2015 released films were presented. Director Ashok Gaikwad, Actress Dipali Sayed and Producer director Ashok Kamble worked on Award Advisory Committee.

Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Sanskrutik Trust recently held an awards ceremony to honor best Marathi films. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Phadnavis and VinodTawde, Minster of culture.

The highlight of the evening was Lifetime Achievement “Dadasaheb Phalke Gaurav Puraskar” was given to legendary actress Leela Gandhi. Audience was nostalgic when she hummed some lines from her famous song “Bai Majhi Karangali Modlee”. She was very emotional and thanked her audience for their love and kindness.

The awards were hosted by Dadasaheb Phalke Marathi Sanskrutik Trust Managing committee Deepali Sayyad, Mohanrao Pimple, Ashok Kamble. The Awards selection committee had members Vijay Patkar, Mohan Joshi, Nirmitee Sawant, Vaishali Samant, Kanchan Adhikari, Sayaji Shinde, Nishigandha Wad.
