Shubhvi Gupte, daughter of Lokesh Gupte Chaitrali Gupte has followed the footsteps of her parents & is making her acting debut in the upcoming film ‘Ek Sangaychay..Unsaid Harmony’. This film is in talks because of actor Kay Kay Menon, who is making his debut in Marathi cinema.

Produced by ‘Devi Sateri Productions’, ‘Ek Sangaychay…Unsaid Harmony’ also marks the directorial debut of actor turned director Lokesh Gupte. Moreover he is also the writer & the editor of the film. The film tells an emotional tale revolving around the relationship between adolescent children & their parents.

Shubhvi who makes her film debut through the films says, “I always knew that the story of this film is about a girl of my age. But I never said to my father that I wish to act in the film. One day my father himself asked me to act in the film! Though he also took my audition & then I was trained through a workshop & rehearsals with the rest of the cast. I wish to act as a hobby right now, I can’t say about my future plans regarding acting.”

Story Outline : 

The promos of Zee Yuva’s new fantasy serial ‘Deva Shappath’ have excited the audiences completely. In the midst of mythological serials on Indian television, ‘Deva Shappath’ is presenting ‘God’ or ‘Krishna’ aka ‘Krish’ in front of our audiences. Kanika, a horror film will be releasing on 31 March all over Maharashtra. The film speaks about female feticide and deals with this issue in a different way. The film stars Sharad Ponkshe, Smita Shewale, Chaitrali Gupte, Kamlakar Satpute, Ananda Karekar, Falguni Rajni. The film is directed by debutant Pushkar Mahohar. The film is produced by Sandeep Manohar under the banners of seven Wonders Motion Pictures. The film does not have any song. The film is edited by Kuldeep Mehan.

Kanika has used large amount of special effects and new technologies as the subject was about horror. The makers of the film says that they has not used such effects to create horror, but to make it more realistic. The film also deals with an important social issue like female feticide.

Many a times, a trailer is an underrated tool in terms of film promotion or marketing especially for horror/thriller films. The trailer of upcoming Marathi film ‘Kanika’ starring Sharad Ponkshe in the lead is one such well-crafted trailer.

It introduces us to the basic plot of the film & what the film is about. But more importantly it gives us the perfect indication of what we should expect from the film. Many kinds of films are being made in Marathi today, but very few horror films are made. Soon ‘Seven Wonders Motion Pictures’ produced ‘Kanika’, a Marathi film will be hitting the theatres. This Pushkar Manohar directorial debut is set to release on 31st March.

PushkarManohar is a businessman turned filmmaker. His passion for films made him enter this field. ‘Kanika’ is ‘horror’ film based on a contemporary story that reflects today’s times. This will be a new experiment in Marathi cinema. The film stars Sharad Ponkshe, Smita Shewale, Chaitrali Gupte, Kamlakar Satpute, Ananda Karekar & Phalguni Rajni among others. Shrimant Damodar Pant  story:

Shrimant is very strict personality and every member of family including Damu’s father (Anna) afraid of him on the other side Damu is a kind of halfwit but very obedient boy. This kind of change in Damu creates lots of problem in his family life. How his family manages with Damu as well as Shrimant Damodar Pant has been shown in very comic way. Bharat Jadhav has performed both the roles with perfection. This is must watch drama in Marathi, you will never get bore while watching the drama, each one’s acting and dialogues are so perfect that audience gets involved in every scene of a drama.

Bharat Jadhav can only perform this kind of multi-personality roles, no one could catch his hand for performing this type of roles. He already has done such type of work in movie ‘Pachhadlela’ where he had shown the four different character’s expression simultaneously. Let’s hope that Shrimant Damodar Pant movie will also have the same old charisma of Bharat Jadhav.
